All education establishments

- We can tailor our talks to any age groups and we can also visit your school for assemblies and talks
School fundraising
There are lots of ways for schools and colleges to support LOROS, the list below is just few of them:

- Sell LOROS novelties and help raise funds for the Hospice. These are available at Christmas and in the spring. We can deliver them to you and call again to collect any money and unsold stock
- Run an event or series of events to benefit the Hospice. This could include taking collections or donating proceeds from ticket sales at plays or concerts etc
- Invite us to sell Hospice merchandise (such as greeting cards and cuddlies)
- Have LOROS information at your events such as newsletter and events flyers
- Run a stall at a summer fete, open day, fresher’s week or other event
- Other ideas include cake making and selling … the possibilities are endless
Universities
There are a myriad of ways that universities and their students can fundraise.
A few suggestions include:
- Music gigs
- Quiz nights
- Fancy dress bucket collections
- Taking part in one of our LOROS challenges at home or abroad.
However, students are always full of high jinks, great ideas and more importantly, full of energy so the list could almost be endless!
As well as fundraising events they could help out at one or more of our locally run events, assist on a stall or even help out at the Hospice.
You might also think about nominating LOROS as your university’s RAG charity.
