The Patient and Carer Participation Group (PCPG) meet four times a year. There are sixteen members of the group which consists of carers, patients and members of staff representing a range of LOROS services. Our aim is to help make LOROS the best place it can be for patients and their families now and in the future.
We welcome new members as the more of us there are the more we can achieve. Our meetings last for two hours from 5-7pm and we discuss a wide range of topics like, support for carers, new research, the gardens and other facilities and services. If you are unable to attend meetings you can still get involved in other ways to help inform the meetings and suggest topics for the agenda.
The tasks we do are varied and draw on our individual skills and interests, they range from giving talks at events, proof reading documents, coming in to talk to people using the services at LOROS and more.
