The following local organisations offer various support services to patients and their families and carers.

Sue Young Cancer Support

Formerly Coping with Cancer, Sue Young Cancer Support offers practical and emotional support for anyone affected by cancer.

The Laura Centre

Support for anyone who is affected by the death (or anticipated death) of a child, and for any child or young person, up to the age of 25, who is affected by the death (or anticipated death) of a significant adult.

Macmillan Cancer Information Centre

Based in the Osborne Building at Leicester Royal Infirmary, this is a drop-in service so there is no need for you to make an appointment.  You can also contact the information centre by post, phone or email.
