Day Therapy Volunteer

Our Day Therapy volunteers provide support and assisted feeding to our patients. You only need a few hours spare, be a good communicator and have a good understanding of quality care. If you would like to be part of a great team, then we would love to hear from you.

The Hospice Snack Bar provides sandwiches, snacks, plus hot and cold beverages for, patients, staff and visitors to LOROS. We are looking for someone friendly and approachable to join the snack bar volunteer team.

Drivers

Transport is vital for patients. We need volunteers to collect patients from home using their own cars or alternatively driving any of the LOROS vehicles.

Home Visiting Volunteers

Our Home Visiting Volunteers provide support to patients, relatives and carers, for up to four hours per week. This can include spending time with patients in their own home, the community and occasionally attending appointments. Our excellent volunteers offer companionship, support and a listening ear as well as support with hobbies and interests. The service is available Mon-Fri, 9-5.

Community Scratch Card Volunteer

Help promote and sell our LOROS scratch cards at various venues throughout the year, including LOROS events, garden fetes and music festivals. If you are confident with good interpersonal skills and would like to lend a helping hand, then we would love to hear from you. Volunteers must be aged 16 or over.
