Fixed Term Contract to April 2021. 3 days per week, 22.5 hours. Salary up to £32,171 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Fellow at LOROS Hospice. The successful candidate will join our enthusiastic and motivated research team at LOROS and will help to take forward and deliver a recently NIHR funded qualitative project entitled: Thinking Ahead about Medical Treatments in Advanced Illness: A qualitative study of barriers and enablers in end-of-life care planning with patients and families from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) backgrounds.

The successful applicant will be an experienced qualitative researcher and will possess sound knowledge and experience of qualitative research methods and analysis. Being a team player and having excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as is the ability to be flexible and to prioritize and plan own workload whilst supporting other members of the research team.
