Job description

NHS Band 7 equivalent. 30 hours per week worked flexibly. Current NHS pension members can continue in the scheme under LOROS’ direction body status and NHS service will be taken into consideration in relation to annual leave entitlement.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the post of Clinical Quality & Patient Safety Lead at the LOROS hospice.

We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual with a sound clinical background and a desire to support the hospice to deliver safe high quality care to patients. Prior experience in a clinical governance/quality role, including involvement in CQC inspections would be desirable.

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, knowledge of clinical audit processes, current health care legislation and policy plus experience of developing clinical practice and implementing new initiatives to improve patient care.

To be considered you will also need to hold a 1st degree in a healthcare field.

A commitment to the overall aims of the charity and a passion for providing the very best palliative and end of life care to patients and families is essential.
