We have approached the lifting of restrictions with optimism and hope. Our shops have been able to reopen, we’re working hard to get our events back on track and we’re excited about the ability to start fundraising in our communities once again. But, every day is still shadowed by the long-term and continuing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, meaning that your support has never been more appreciated. Your help enables us to be here, providing care for our patients and making a difference when it matters the most. Thank you for choosing LOROS - we’re here because of you.
Our warehouses are in Wigston at Pullman Road and Glenfield, offer ample parking and are the easiest places for you to donate.
The Hospice is grateful for the generous donations given to support its work. However in order to raise income and ensure that we attract customers to our shops we politely request that items are of good quality, not broken or soiled. If items are broken, damaged or soiled it means we have the expense of disposing of the items.
We do not accept the following items:
Fabric covered furniture with no fire labels
White goods and large electrical items
Electric and gas fires
Car seats for children
Duvets and pillows
Furnishings need to comply with the 1988 fire regulations and items must have fire labels attached. Any items of furniture made from glass requires the British Standard kite mark.
