In line with Government announcements we’re delighted to report that our shops will re-open on Wednesday 2nd December, from 10am to 4.30pm.
Please note we will not be accepting donations to our shops initially. Once our volunteers are back and existing donations have been sorted we will make a further announcement. For the time being, please keep your donated items at home. Thank you – we are very grateful for your support and look forward to receiving your items soon.
We would also like you to consider supporting us by shopping with LOROS online – we have a festive Christmas marketplace where you can get lots of goodies and our eBay shop is a brilliant place for unique and special gifts.
The impact of COVID-19 is devastating and we stand to lose £2.3 million this financial year. We need your support now, more than ever. Please help us to be here for those that need us the most.
Our warehouses are in Wigston at Pullman Road and Glenfield, offer ample parking and are the easiest places for you to donate.
The Hospice is grateful for the generous donations given to support its work. However in order to raise income and ensure that we attract customers to our shops we politely request that items are of good quality, not broken or soiled. If items are broken, damaged or soiled it means we have the expense of disposing of the items.
We do not accept the following items:
Fabric covered furniture with no fire labels
White goods and large electrical items
Electric and gas fires
Car seats for children
Duvets and pillows
Furnishings need to comply with the 1988 fire regulations and items must have fire labels attached. Any items of furniture made from glass requires the British Standard kite mark.
