Gary Dale

Deputy Retail Business Development Manager

Gary joined LOROS in January 2019. As a Business Development Manager, his role is to oversee the 29 LOROS shops, along with Mary, Deputy Retail Operations Manager.

Gary's main role is to review the current high street and ecommerce shops within the charity, as well as reviewing external opportunities. He shares the same goal - to maximise the income to support the Hospice.

The shops are largely supported by a great bank of volunteers and dedicated management teams. He feels proud to a part of a passionate team and committee who support the Hospice through hard work, donations and not forgetting our wonderful customers.

Mary Lockhart

Deputy Retail Operations Manager

Mary joined LOROS in December 2018, following a varied career within customer service and retail.

Her main role is to manage the daily operations of our 29 shops, with support from Gary, the Deputy Retail Business Development Manager and Sarah Capewell, the Area Manager.

Mary’s aim is to improve the service and products we offer our customers and to promote the variety and quality our shops offer. All with the goal of maximising the profits to provide funding for the Hospice.

Sarah Capewell

Area Manager

Sarah has worked for LOROS since February 2010. Her main role within the business is to support the Trading Manager, Shop Managers and their Deputies to ensure that all 29 shops are open for a full trading week.

LOROS Shops are very kindly supported by Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and beyond those boundaries. We receive wonderful donations, which make our shops? raise much needed funds for our Hospice - thank you.

Elaine Godber

Corporate and Community Relations Co-ordinator

Elaine joined LOROS in September 2012 following a long career with HSBC where she held Management roles within Training and Development, Project Management and Sales Departments alongside being a Community Ambassador.

Her passion to make a difference within her local community has led Elaine to her present role within LOROS where her main role is to increase donations of unwanted clothes and other goods by siting indoor donation stations and outdoor donation banks at businesses, schools and community groups within our area.

Elaine feels privileged to work for LOROS, as it is a charity that is very dear to her heart.

Our drivers

We have a team of drivers that will happily collect and deliver furniture throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
