An 80-mile long-distant path from Ilkley, West Yorkshire finishing at Bowness-on-Windermere, Cumbria.

This walk is ideal for anyone taking up their first long-distant walk challenge. Spread over 6 days the longest day is 15.5 miles and the shortest being just 10 miles.

The route travels through the beautiful grounds of the historic Bolton Abbey, walking alongside the River Wharfe, the Ribblehead Viaduct before finishing overlooking Lake Windermere at Bowness-on-Windermere.

Accommodation will be a combination of hotels and bed and breakfast establishments.

Support transport will be provided to get to the start and return home after completing the walk. The minibus will also take your main luggage to and from your accommodation meaning you will only have to carry a daysack.
