We're so excited to announce that the theme for this year’s event is Under The Sea!
2018's record-breaking 2,200+ ladies walked and raised more than £150,000 for the Hospice!
Will you sign up to take part in this fantastic event and help to raise money for your local Hospice?
There are many ways that you can start getting sponsored for your walk. Last year our most popular method of gaining sponsorship, raising over £90,000, was through JustGiving. Simply click hereto create your page, which you can then share your page on social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
The first 400 people to open and receive a donation on their JustGiving page will win a beautiful necklace, kindly donated by Argento, Highcross, Leicester. We will contact the winners by email following the event.
We have also included a paper sponsor form in this pack. Keep it with you, as you never know where and when you will see someone who would be willing to give you a donation.
Remember to ask people to Gift Aid their donation where possible; If you are a UK taxpayer, the Government will add an extra 25p to every £1 you donate to us.

Entertainment, music and onstage games will begin at 5.30pm and our food and drink stalls will open at the same time.
The walk will start at 7.30pm
We have listened to your feedback and this year we have decided to replace our balloon release with a bubble release. We think you will all agree that this fits nicely with this year’s theme as well as being an environmentally friendly alternative. At the time of registration, you will find a section to enter your own personal message. These messages will be displayed on a big screen at the event, throughout the evening.
On the Day Registration is being replaced by a chipped bib
This year we have decided to replace the normal walk number bibs with a unique chipped bib. This means that upon arrival at The King Power Stadium on Saturday 6th April, you will not need to sign in. The chip in your bib will automatically activate when you cross the start and finish lines on the day, letting us know that you have set off on the walk and arrived back safely. We hope that this will allow you more time to enjoy the food village and entertainment on offer this year.
Your number is unique to you. If you cannot complete the 10km route, please provide your number to the nearest marshal. Please note that on the day sign-ups and any other enquiries will still need to visit the registration area at the event.
Parking will be available at the King Power Stadium. Please be aware, spaces are on a first come, first served basis.
