I Experience VR is a new distraction therapy wellbeing app used at LOROS Hospice and has been created with patients with limited mobility in mind.
We have a series of films which have been designed to provide a relaxing, calm peaceful experience to our patients by offering them the opportunity to ‘see the world’ from the comfort of their chair or bed.
I Experience VR is simple to use for all health and social care professionals, even if they have little or no experience with Virtual Reality. It is a positive way for healthcare professionals to engage with a patient.
The relaxing films accessed by use of a VR headset suitable for patients, residents and staff within Hospices, Hospitals, Care Homes, and Community organisations as a wellbeing tool helping people to feel more relaxed, lessening stressful or anxious emotions as reported by an early stage evaluation study.
We have already partnered up with several Hospices and would welcome you on board to enable more patients and families to benefit from the use of I Experience VR and enrich the lives of terminally ill patients.
This approach is equally valuable in a corporate or community or community organisations seeking to promote relaxation and wellbeing for its staff, students or members in an accessible and innovative way.
