This summer, there is a party coming to Hinckley and it is set to be explosive.

LOROS Hospice has revealed that a brand new family-friendly paint rave is set to be the grand finale at this year’s Colourfun Mile.

After running through various colour stations, participants will be invited to gather at the finish line where a countdown will signal the start of an incredible paint party, Alt textcomplete with music and dancing, all under a spectacular, multi-coloured paint cloud.

LOROS Events Lead, Laura Betts said: “We know how much our supporters love our Colourfun Mile but this year, we wanted to make sure it was better than ever.

“That’s why we really are planning to bring the party atmosphere to the south west of the county, with a celebratory ‘paint rave’, for all the family.”

This event, which is in its fourth year, has attracted over 3,000 people and raised more than £20,000 for the Hospice.

Fun runners will take to the streets and experience blasts of colour as they dash through the various paint stations in their customised t-shirts and neon accessories.

Another new addition for this year and adding an extra special sparkle to the event, is a glistening glitter station for participants to run through before dashing over the finish line.

“It will be fantastic to see our supporters shine in more ways than one, as they help to raise valuable funds for our charity,” added Laura.
