About this workshop

Learning Outcomes:

• The factors that influence resuscitation success • The principles and frameworks for decision making about resuscitation including the ethics of withholding CPR (DNA CPR) • Development of skills in discussions about deterioration and resuscitation • Strategies to work with the challenges of DNACPR discussions

Suitable for

Doctors and qualified nurses, especially those that may be responsible for decision making with patients about care at the end of life and completing and signing official paperwork. Ideally participants will have advanced communication skills and have a good level of understanding of advance care planning.
