• Blocking behaviours-what stops a conversation
• Dealing with challenging questions at the end of life
• Having open honest discussions about serious illness
By the end of this session delegates will have:
• Enhanced communication skills
• Increased confidence and skills to answer challenging questions from patients and their carers
• Increased confidence to initiate end of life discussions
• An opportunity to rehearse skills in a safe and supportive environment
