About this workshop
Delegates on this session will: • Gain an understanding of what lymphoedema/chronic oedema is, why it happens and its treatments. • Improve skills to recognise the signs/symptoms of cellulitis and what to do if you suspect a patient/client is suffering from this • Gain an understanding of the importance of good skin care • Gain confidence in using compression hosiery – application, maintenance and contra-indications of wearing hosiery • Gain an understanding of the importance of weight management, exercise and well-fitting shoes.
