LOROS Colour of Ribbons

News

Brightly coloured ribbons tied lovingly around a tree have become an annual event in the LOROS calendar and more the 270 people helped celebrate and remember the lives of their family and friends last Saturday (4th July).

Wendy Marshall, Fundraising o-ordinator at LOROS said: "I would like to say a huge thank you to Fiona Cairns for making us such a wonderful cake and to the Leicester City Male Voice Choir for providing us with some delightful singing during the day.

"We raised more than £6,000 and this amount could pay for the care of an inpatient for a 12 day stay at the Hospice or for the running of the charity for seven hours.

"Thank you to everyone who supported the event - we hope to see you all again next year"
