This study day provides health and social care support workers with an introduction to supporting people and those important to them towards the end of life.
A multi professional programme designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals with an interest in palliative and end of life care. It’s an opportunity to learn about the principles of palliative care, to help support people receiving a palliative care approach to have a better death regardless of setting.
Staff working in hospices in the UK can apply to the Masonic Charitable Foundation (via Hospice UK) to cover part of the cost of this programme. See Hospice UK for more details.
